Stationary concrete batching plant

SBM has been manufacturing and selling batching plants since year 1956, when our Company installed the first tower plant for a dam project in Italy that produced 1.700.000 cubic meters of concrete. SBM, thanks to the high skilled R&D department and to the manufacturing process, is able to supply a complete range of products, from big stationary wet or dry type to full mobile batching plants. All batching plants are designed, produced and tested in our manufacturing facilities in Italy. Service online

SBMMIX plants are characterized by an extremely modular system including:

• 100 or 120 m³/h output of compacted concrete;

• constant quality under control;

• long time reliability;

• low maintenance costs;

• environment protection

• reduced area for installation;

• aggregate units with 4, 5 or 6 compartments,with storage capacities from 120 to 180 m³.

SBMMOOVE and SBMMOBILE are concrete mixing plants for contractors and readymix companies who need high quality standards and performance thanks to easy erection, dismounting and transportation, at low costs for installation and with quick operation times.

DNA helicoidal twin shaft mixer

The movement of mixture inside the mixer is generated by special helical paddles and by paddles orthogonal to the axis of rotation; thanks to the accurate design of the fluid dynamics during mixing operations, the desired grade of homogeneity is reached quicker, with lower noise and less vibrations. This improves on production and energy efficiency of the whole batching plant.

SBMWASH 10 has been designed to wash the truck mixers and the truck mixer pumps and to recover the concrete inside the drum when the machines come back to the batching plant at the end of the working day.

1. The chute of the truck mixer is positioned above the receiving hopper of SBMwash.

2. The operator through the washing pipe pumps the water inside the drum (from 100 l to 200 l per cubic meter). The water can be clean or slurry. The concrete goes inside the SBMwash drum trough the receiving hopper. Inside the drum there are always 1000 l of water.

3. The conveying screw inside the drum brings the aggregates to the top. They are are washed before reaching the exit.

4. The slurry water exits through the outlet at the bottom of the drum and it reaches the storage tank (underground or on-ground tank), where it is pumped from the tank to the concrete plant for making new concrete.
